Calibrating a Drop Spreader
Walk at a normal speed (one that you can maintain while fertilizing your turf area later - you want to calibrate with the same speed that you will later use for application). Open the fertilizer spreader before you enter the calibration area and close it after you pass the other end of the calibration area.
