Description: Annual plant in the ‘Mustard” family with at least 5 species documented in Texas. Leaves initially in basal rosette before growing erect. Basal and uppermost leave margins can be toothed, deeply notched, or entire. Fruits are siliques that often have a peppery taste, hence the name pepperweed.
