Description: Summer annual grassy weed that roots at the nodes when spreading. Leaf sheaths and blades glabrous, unlike Large Crabgrass (D. sanguinalis) which is covered with dense hairs on both sides. Panicle with 2-7 spikelike primary branches attached in a digitate or nearly digiate pattern off of the main stalk.
