Description: Annual with an erect growing habit that exudes white milky sap from the stems when cut. Leaves are oblong-lanceolate to ovate in shape with coarsely toothed margins. Flowers are greatly reduced and contained inside small cup-like involucres (cyathia). Fruits are 3-locular capsules.
